This sample hook shows a list of files with their translations. Prerequisite ------------------------------------ none How to use ------------------------------------ - Copy content of setup.txt into your template TS. - Add this to typo3conf/AdditionalConfiguration.php: $GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['EXTCONF']['file_list']['filesDirectoriesHook'][] = 'EXT:file_list/Resources/Private/Samples/multilingual/tx_filelist_multilingual.php:tx_filelist_multilingual'; $GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['EXTCONF']['file_list']['extraItemMarkerHook'][] = 'EXT:file_list/Resources/Private/Samples/multilingual/tx_filelist_multilingual.php:tx_filelist_multilingual'; - Add a plugin to your page and choose a directory containing your translated documents The hook searches for files having an underscore and a two-letter country code before the extension for the translation. E.g., if you have a directory with following files: . |-- document1.doc |-- document1_de.doc |-- document1_fr.doc |-- document1_it.doc |-- document2.pdf |-- document2_fr.pdf |-- document3.pdf |-- document3_fr.pdf `-- document3_it.pdf You'll get a list with mainly 3 documents (document1.doc, document2.pdf and document3.pdf) and their corresponding translations in French (fr), German (de) and Italian (it), when they are available.
